How to Force Restart the iPhone Duo 1. Press and quickly release the Volume Up button on the left edge. 2. Press and quickly release the Volume Down button on the left edge. 3. Press and hold the Power / Touch ID button on the right edge. 4. Keep holding the Power button—even if the screen goes completely black—until you see the white Apple logo appear on either display, then release the button.

This is a confirmed bug with IOS 27 not the duo. It’ll be fixed in the next patch but just hit volume up then volume down release and then hold the power button until you see the apple logo and you’ll be good. Happened once on my 18 pro max and so far hasn’t happened on my duo.

I don’t think it’s a iPhone duo issue. I think it’s an iOS 27 bug. I had this same issue with my iPhone Air.

I'm going to stick it out and give it another week or so before I make any rash decisions to return the phone. This is a first-generation project. I already know what I was getting myself into. I am happily going to continue to be the beta tester. I beta test a lot of things, whether it's gaming systems, gaming products, or tech products. This isn't my first time at the rodeo, but I cannot lie: this is truly kind of heartbreaking for the second day of usage. Again, it's super minor compared to some people, who are, again, just the 1% whose #iPhones are cracking or breaking down the middle. Again, it could be user error based on how a person is folding the phone, but then there's still a product issue because it has to account for all variables of user usage and user education on how to use their product. Again, this is all on #Apple.
