It’s a 50/50 shot on the seal part. The basic ones aren’t but the rest, I’ve seen some decedents that were buried well over 10 years ago look like they were just put in, and then some, not so much

You know, if vaults were made the other way around, lid and walls being on piece and that being lowered on the flat part where the casket sits, may do a better job of keeping the elements out of it. ALL that weight pushing down on the bottom of the vault.

I like the deliberate choice of using the phrase protective qualities which effectively quantify nothing. just a promise of a better comparison than something without it has less protective qualities but again, it claims nothing. a sneaky marketing term nonetheless

And they all burp and none seal…. Funeral homes sell it as it is the end all be all. And an up charge I would imagine. Along with the magical embalming. . Quit wasting your money people you’re gonna rot…. Weather you like it or not
