She was talking about former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau, 54. It started in July 2025 on the Canadian leg of her tour. In Montreal, Perry had dinner with Trudeau. Two days later, his daughter Ella-Grace, 17, went with him to Perry’s concert at the Bell Centre. Two months after that dinner, the two were kissing on a yacht off Santa Barbara. This came after Perry’s split from Orlando Bloom, the father of her 6-year-old daughter, Daisy. Bloom said on TODAY last year there was “nothing but love” between them. He is now dating Swiss model Luisa Laemmel. Perry said she had talked to her therapist about wanting an “epic legendary love.” She called Trudeau “the missing puzzle piece.” The couple made their red carpet debut at the Tribeca Film Festival in June. Trudeau also watched Perry perform at the World Cup opening ceremony, which meant missing Canada’s opening match. “Sometimes supportive boyfriend duties call,” he tweeted.
