I think this is the only way I could tolerate being married.

It’s almost like you are two well-rounded, fully developed individual adults who just happened to decide to spend a life together because you love one another. I love this so much. ❤️

People share locations because of not trusting the other person?? Say sike. 😭 My husband and I share locations purely for safety or emergency situations. 😳

This reads like the natural progression of a healthy couple who has been together a decade plus and are particularly well-matched

This is literally the same as my relationship. I'm a lawyer, he's an engineer. I need my sleep and my space. Love him to death though, we're so happy and in love still after 10 years.

We are very much whatever works for you kinda couple. We have 2 kids and my husband travels for work 3-4 days a week, so we do text quite a bit but we don’t text nearly as much when he is working from the office which is 5 miles down the street from our house

this is for the most part what me and my gfs relationship is like, we love hanging out and chatting and we get along great (and have a few similar interests) but we very much have our own separate lives. its pretty great and feels v healthy:)💗

The only way I knew my gf and I would survive living together is by having separate bathrooms & bedrooms. We have totally diff habits so this was something we did for the health of our relationship.

I’m a lesbian and this is more on par with what I want out of a relationship but it’s lowk frowned upon in the sapphic community 😔

Sleeping in separate rooms is often criticized on social media. However, in real life, it is a pretty common practice, as many people suffer from insomnia or other sleep issues caused by the high stress level of modern life

I’ve had soooo many women in the past few weeks talk about wanting an escape from their husbands and it’s so disheartening because I’m like is he your warden?? I’m single and in my 40s and do what I want so I think they feel like the only way they can be free is divorce but if more women had a marriage like yours we’d all be happier. Marriage is not a shackle if you don’t want it to be!
