@journeywithdrish: IT’S WEDDING WEEKEND!!!!!! 🥹💍🤍 Can’t believe I’m back in Chicago (my favorite city) to celebrate MY PERSON from college!!! I’ve been manifesting this moment for her since we were freshman RAs together, and now it’s finally time!!! 😭 There’s something so special about watching someone you’ve loved and seen navigate the highs and lows of life for years find their person. I’m just SO grateful she never settled for anything less than the love she deserves. 💍 It’s also my first (and probs only lol) time being part of an American wedding, and it’s been SO fun learning all the ways they do things differently! But it’s also made me think about how Alex showed up for me when we were 22, learning ALL things Indian for my wedding and embracing a culture so different from her own. 🥹 Now, years later, I get to celebrate her in her world, and it’s such a full-circle moment.
