@molly.and.mike: Can you believe this was 1 AM?! 🤯 📌 Save this hike for your bucket list and don’t forget to follow for more epic hikes and hidden gems across the world 🌍 📍Måtind: located on Andøya in the Vesterålen Islands in northern Norway, this trail starts with a steep climb but quickly rewards you with sweeping views of cliffs, beaches, and the endless Norwegian Sea. 🥾 Trail details: • Distance: ~4.7 miles (7.6 km) round trip • Elevation gain: ~1,755 ft (400 m) • Time: ~3–4 hours • Difficulty: Moderate - short but steep at the start, then mostly easy walking along a ridge 🐑 Second to the views, the sheep are the next best part! ☀️ Best done in summer when the trail is dry and the midnight sun is glowing - we started at 10pm and still had golden views the whole way. 🚗 Park at the gravel lot in Stave (free) and follow the red trail markers - it’s well-marked and easy to follow once you’re above the trees.
