Feeling extremely validated in my immediate reaction to my friends after the film being “I’m literally feeling anxious bc I don’t know what I should be feeling about her” - but I love the take on it being about human behavior above all else!

If you haven't done so I recommend reading the John Carryrou book Bad Blood and/or watching the HBO max documentary The Inventor to get a more balanced picture of her. Or maybe watch videos of her deposition. I believe she knows exactly what she's doing

Yikes, Billy made me crazy, a complete control freak and what I see as a narcissist. I was sitting forward at parts of this movie in absolute disbelief. The way she is always nodding her head yes at everything. I left that movie more confused by her than when I walked in. She plays the victim always. I can’t pinpoint anything except that. I found her Father interesting when dealing with Billy. I also found it interesting when her Father and Mother were holding hands and quietly soothing one another in that hand holding. Elizabeth Holmes acts innocent and almost always acts like she doesn’t know, never really answers anything, throws questions back to not answer. It’s soo very interesting, complicated and honestly crazy. She is an enigma to my mind, I have never seen anything like it.

I just watched this movie. My thoughts about her was that her thinking is very different to the point I believe she’s autistic. She just isn’t going to make the same connections as most people. She’s very misunderstood. Her disconnect is why she gets herself into being a puppet for these men in her life. And she really is not focused on the money but the men in her life are. She believed in her product almost like a mad scientist. Nobody had to give her money. They took a chance. That’s how it goes.

There's an aspect to her story that should be talked about more, which is when a person begins with their own genuine altruistic intentions and then does quite a bit of horrible or illegal things without the guilt because part of them still believes in their original mission: Elizabeth Holmes, Elon Musk, Sam Bankman-Fried.
