Louise Reecejones, 48, visited the restaurant with her family to celebrate her daughter’s 19th birthday. She and her son Harrison both ordered a £17.99 chicken skewer meal after seeing promotional pictures that appeared to show two large skewers. However, they claim they were served just one chicken skewer, alongside chips, coleslaw and ketchup. Louise also alleged that the chicken was burnt, hard and chewy, leaving her son hungry enough to need more food on the way home. Harvester responded by explaining that the advertised image showed a double chicken skewer, which customers must add separately to their order.
