@dershpiel: Jewish billionaire Bill Ackman says the $25 million he and his wife, Israeli-born Neri Oxman, invested in the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange is now worth $250 million, ten times their original investment. The couple bought nearly 5% of the company that runs Israel’s stock exchange in a deal announced in January 2024, while the country was at war. They described it as a show of support for Israel and confidence in its economic future. In an interview published today, Ackman shared the updated value and said he has invested close to $100 million in Israel, with more investments being considered. Based on his figures, the couple’s shares have gained roughly $225 million in value on paper.
