@candidehammond20: ✨ One in a Million Moments of Jesus · Frame 68 ✨ 🐟 The First Disciples 📜 The Moment: Jesus walked by the Sea of Galilee and saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew, casting a net into the sea — they were fishermen. Jesus said to them, 'Come, follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.' At once they left their nets and followed Him. Going on from there, He saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John, in a boat with their father Zebedee, preparing their nets. Jesus called them, and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed Him. 💛 The Tenderness: The first people Jesus called were fishermen. Not scholars, not millionaires, not politicians, not religious leaders. Ordinary people with fish-stained hands who cast nets every day. His call isn't for 'good enough' people. It's for willing people. 💫 For You Today: Do you feel too ordinary? Too plain? Jesus' first disciples were the most ordinary fishermen. He doesn't call the qualified — He qualifies the willing. Are you willing? Willing to leave your nets, your boat, everything familiar, and follow Him? Your 'ordinary,' in His hands, will become the most beautiful story.
