@anastasiabeautyfascia: Your nose can look puffier and your nasolabial folds deeper because of tension you don’t even notice. 👀 Look at the muscles running along the sides of your nose. We recruit them when we squint, wrinkle our nose, lift our upper lip or make certain facial expressions. When these muscles are constantly tense, they can pull on the surrounding tissues, making the area beside the nose look shorter, tighter and more folded. And there’s another factor: fluid accumulation. The tissues around your nose and midface have lymphatic and venous drainage pathways. Puffiness in this area can make existing nasolabial folds more noticeable and the contours of your nose appear less defined. That’s why I love this technique! We’re working to relax unnecessary muscle tension, improve tissue mobility and support healthy fluid movement around the nose and upper lip. The goal? A softer-looking nasolabial area, less puffiness and smoother facial contours. Try this release and pay attention to how often you tense the sides of your nose throughout the day. Save this technique and follow me for more ways to improve your facial appearance by understanding the anatomy underneath. 🤍
