NosillaBlue :
the scariest part of this movie is that they're sleeping with just the flat sheet

I never understood how people can sleep with the door wide open.

They made an empty doorway ten times scarier than any monster, demon or ghost from the last 20 years.

This is one of the best horror films ever made. It's a shame what they did to it. There should never have even been a second one, let alone seven of them.

The lack of background sound is what gets it for me. The strangers, blair witch 😭😭

It’s psychological. People are in their house being disturbed by something they cannot see. Even if you don’t believe in the paranormal, you do become a little more hyper aware to the sounds in your house and wondering where it’s coming from.

Every time they went to sleep, you knew something was going to happen. The reputation built the anticipation and suspense. So good.

Airport Runway :
The best part is they didn’t have to speak every second of the film. A lot of modern horror movies lack nuance and relay on jump scares which is boring.

They built so much anticipation for even the tiniest change, and left the audience to scan the screen riveted. Brilliant

this movie genuinely scarred me as a kid. i watched it in the theater and believed it was real found footage, so i left crying by the end. i couldnt sleep without lights for at least a year and was terrified of being home alone
