It’s the anxiety that comes with seeing her name pop up on my phone. I’ve learned that I’m usually only useful when she needs a favor, someone’s in the hospital, someone has died, or it’s a butt dial. Outside of those things, her calling doesn’t bring comfort or connection; it brings pure anxiety.

I do get irritated because she ONLY calls to be nosey my moma is male centered and she is obsessed with my son(cause it's a man) and all she do is call asking personal questions about his life she try to keep tabs on my child like he's her man if she ain't asking about him she asking personal questions about my house Do I have food is my bills on she ain't asking to help she asking to see if I'm down so she can have something to talk about to the family I can be at my lowest she will Never know....Yes I do get irritated....I feel the same way she did when I was younger just asking simple questions or needed help with something she got irritated with me
