Everyone’s Mom :
Quick Methods to Remove Olive Stains from Skin
• Lemon Juice & Salt: Squeeze fresh lemon juice over your hands, add a teaspoon of table salt, and scrub gently. The citric acid acts as a natural bleaching agent while the salt exfoliates.
• Olive Oil (or Vegetable Oil): Rub a small amount of oil onto the stained areas. Let it sit for a minute to break down the pigments, then wash thoroughly with warm water and dish soap.
• Baking Soda Paste: Mix baking soda with a little water to form a thick paste. Rub it over the stains and rinse.
• Pumice or Exfoliating Soap: Use a heavy-duty mechanic's soap (like Fast Orange) or a gentle pumice stone to buff away the stained dead skin cells.

Fresh olives are extremely astringent. That’s why it’s doing that to your hands. Highly recommend you stop touching them with bare hands lol

If it’s basic use a mild acid. Maybe lemons? Dish soap is also alkaline

How to wash it off: Standard hand soap doesn't always break down raw olive resin effectively. If your hands feel coated afterward, rub a small splash of standard cooking oil or a spoonful of dish soap onto your dry hands before adding water to break the chemical bond, then rinse with warm water

Black walnuts cause the same reaction when you harvest them wash your hands with lemon juice or baking soda if that doesn’t work it’ll take 1-3 weeks

You should make a jar of cured olives during this process. Do you have to soak the olives in water before making olive oil for this reason?
