I think AI still has a long way to go when it comes to songwriting. Two things will remain major challenges: the human touch in writing and phrasing, which requires a refined artistic sensibility, and the way ideas are naturally shaped and developed. That human flavor is the first thing I notice when I recognize AI-generated lyrics.
