America has always tried to ban religion in the west. There’s a million examples of games that are not even related to religion but the most common is removing Christian crosses that usually represent a grave or a church. Mostly Christian religion but if I’m not wrong there were some Quran chanting in ocarina of time that was also removed.

same reason they told digimon change their whole storyline. thats why they had so many angels and demons it was supposed to be a heaven and hell battle. they wasn't letting anyone slide religion around
