The consequences landed on American communities, and now enforcement is being framed as the problem. The real problem was the four-year policy of deliberate non-enforcement. Biden and Harris chose to leave the border open, and Americans are living with those consequences. The agents doing the work of fixing it deserve support, not condemnation.
