@jeannablankenship95: ✨ One in a Million Moments of Jesus · Frame 57 ✨ 🐑 Do You Love Me? 📜 The Moment: When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, 'Simon son of John, do you love Me more than these?' 'Yes, Lord,' he said, 'You know that I love You.' Jesus said, 'Feed My lambs.' Again Jesus said, 'Simon son of John, do you love Me?' He answered, 'Yes, Lord, You know that I love You.' Jesus said, 'Take care of My sheep.' The third time He said to him, 'Simon son of John, do you love Me?' Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, 'Do you love Me?' 💛 The Tenderness: Jesus asked Peter three times. Exactly matching Peter's three denials. Each 'Do you love Me?' was a restoration. Each 'Feed My sheep' was a commission. Jesus didn't remember Peter's failures. He only asked him: do you love Me? If you love Me, then feed My sheep. Failure doesn't disqualify you. As long as you still love Him, He can still use you. 💫 For You Today: Have you also failed? Three times, seven times, seventy times seven? But what Jesus asks you is not 'Why did you fail?' — it's 'Do you love Me?' If you love Him, that's enough. Your failures have been covered by His grace. Your mission still awaits you. Rise up, and feed His sheep.
