@leesolomonbeyondweather: It could mean the start of the rainy season. That would be good, because we are running behind average in most of Northern California. Long-range models have been forecasting a shift toward cooler temps and rainfall. Sounds just about right for this time of year. At this point, I would continue your winter prep around your property. Clear drainage, cut suspect tree limbs, change the oil, and start your generator. If you live in a mountain community, then this should be standard operating procedure. For folks in areas less prone to impacts, maybe just check whether you need to replace your wipers and tires. Good all-season tires can make a huge difference when driving in the rain.
