if you’re a person complaining about how sec is being favored in the ap poll just take a look at their record vs out of conference opponents and look at everyone else’s. it’s obvious they’re the best conference and they just eat each other alive every week.

Texas lost to Florida last week, shouldn’t Florida be ranked above them and Ole Miss? LSU beat Auburn who beat Georgia, shouldn’t LSU be ranked above Georgia? Why do they get to go up two spots for their loss losing? Texas beat Ohio State, shouldn’t that mean Texas is above Ohio State? Tennessee beat Alabama, shouldn’t they be ranked above them? Why does this only apply to Notre Dame and during a bye week?

So by your logic with BYU/ ND - you think BYU should still be top inside the top 5 (to be above ND) even though they lost to an unranked UCF team? ND lost to a then top 10 BYU team. They should not continue to be punished every time BYU loses. Makes zero sense.

voters are so quick to forget WHO teams lost to. 2 of UCFs losses are to currently ranked teams and they weren't completely terrible losses. it took 2OT for them to get the win over BYU. not enough to justify ND over them but like you said you knew it was gonna happen
