I make lunches at 9:30 at night for the next day. I get up at 5am,start a load of laundry,shower and get myself ready. Get the kids up at 6:15,make them breakfast,get them ready for school. Leave by 7:00 to get them there on time. Then go to the salon to work until 7:00 most days,then we go home do homework,I cook dinner,fold laundry,get everyone showered and fed,and then get them to bed…to start it all again tomorrow.

I truly don’t understand SAHMs complaining. Working moms do EVERYTHING they do AND work….. I’ve been a working mom, stay at home mom, and now I’m a work from home mom. SAHM was a vacation

My husband gets up at 4am to work the mines and doesnt get home until 7:30/8pm. He has to do his damn job the way they tell him to do it. He’s exhausted. Minimal breaks. I get to rest all day and put off chores until the next day if I want to. I can order out and not cook if I’m too tired🤷🏻♀️My husbands job is harder than staying home, so I will always be grateful and make sure he knows how valued he is.

that is the one thing I've noticed, you don't see single mom's on here, complaining about working hard and taking care of the household. And their kids, it's only stay at home mom's and I feel like that is so selfish, because at least yes, they have to do. All of that, but they get to actually raise their kids. And not pay a daycare to do it. Just so they can support their kids. But you know, being a stay at home? Mom is so much harder than the dad. You have to work and don't get to spend time with their kids and the mom's that have to do it. All and work

I'm a single dad of four teenagers. I'm a full-time firefighter. it's a blessing to be at home on my days off just like my kids are a blessing. I don't understand any of this mental load. we have so much to do. it literally takes no time at all to get most of this stuff done. like you said before, you even leave for work

I get up at 3:30am, make lunch for my kiddo, get myself ready for work, get her up, out the door by 5am, work all day, come home, dinner, chores, homework. All by myself because I’m a widow. I do it all with zero complaints. I’m grateful I am able to do it. Grateful I can provide it all and do it all and have a happy, healthy, thriving kid.

I struggle to understand why laundry is always such a big deal. Put in dirty stuff, press go and it comes out clean. Even dry if you ask nicely. 🤷♀️
