@interestingengineering: Florida startup Doroni Aerospace is developing the H1-X, a two-seat electric eVTOL with eight lift fans, two cruise fans and tandem wings, designed to take off from a home driveway. Doroni lists a 120 mph top speed, up to 100 miles of range and a 25-minute fast charge, and claims more than 600 pre-orders for deliveries from 2028. The H1-X unveiled in March 2026 was a full-scale showroom model, with flying prototypes due to start testing in 2027.
