I never no call no show. I had a job basically hire me not call me. Then they called me and were like "you were supposed to be here at x time." ummm no one let me know i was even hired and I got another job... its a 2 way street....

Meanwhile, I’ve applied to so many jobs and can’t even get a call back. No way in hell I’d no call/show on an interview. I’ve even applied HT and can’t even get an interview.

at one of my old jobs there were young kids that would go through the hiring process get hired get told when there first week was to not show up.

I’ve had more people ghost me for their interview than those who actually show up 🙃. Also had someone on day 2 of training never show up again…..after they took the time to submit all their availability the night before in our app. 🤯

Every time I had an interview- id go to it- otherwise id let the person know ahead of time that hey- I am not able to make it. If I remember correctly- I have a job once that my boss called me and asked why I wasn’t at work that day- I told her- I didn’t have a schedule to know where I was going- she took responsibility for it and gave me my schedule- since then- no issues

My theory on this is that people who receive benefits from the state often need to show the they’ve applied or even interviewed occasionally or at least attempted to schedule one to continue getting their benefits so that this way they can show that they’re trying and still keep their benefit benefits, and not worry about the job

my system has the applicant pick the day and time. I watch them reschedule 4 times and then not show up. if you can pick the day and time that works for you and you still can't show up? like what does that say for you as a worker?
