Soak them in hot warm and soap comes right off! Gets wax off and makes the glass shiny. Did the exact same thing for my wedding 😊

You want the wax in the bottom to hold the candle in place so they done wobble. Check your candle size first.

They put wax in the bottom so the candle stick didn’t tip over because it might have been too small for the piece
