@science.nature: China built a bridge where clouds fly under it. This is the Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge in Guizhou, China. 2,051 feet — 625 meters — above the Beipan River. Twice as tall as the Eiffel Tower. Officially the world's highest bridge. Before it, locals called this canyon "Earth's Crack." To cross it, you had to drive 2 hours down winding mountain roads. Now? 2 minutes. 2,890 meters long. Main span 1,420 meters. Built in just over 3 years. During construction, engineers hit a huge underground water source and turned the bridge into a 300-meter wide waterfall — a river in the sky. Real project: Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge, Guizhou, China — opened Sept 28, 2025, certified by Guinness World Records at 626.01m in April 2026. Image is AI illustration for visual impact, bridge is 100% real.
