@humanoidhistory: In October 1982, a Texas woman identified as Donna performs a candle-blessing ritual. “I am not unhappy with being called a witch.” #halloween #witchcraft #wicca #1980s #witchtok

evilmarita1 :

Ah. So she's a Wiccan, which not all witches are.

thespokenlessons :

Candle work on carpet is confident.

Destiny🤍🦋 :

You tell them Donna 😂😭

Oz :

oh yeah shes probably wiccian, the three fold law was either made by them or is extremely common.

Autumn_in_Oklahoma❌ :

She sounds so sweet. Kinda like Dolly Parton

🌻💀Cemetery Sunflower💀🌻 :

Witchcraft is so freeing. Blessed is the Witch. 🌌🌟☀️🌕🌍🪷

⋆｡‧˚ʚ♡ɞ˚‧｡⋆ :

“Witchcraft is evil” and it’s just us reconnecting with nature

letthew00kiewin :

protection spell for the carpet against the candles 😬😬😬😬😬

Chef Farida :

Oh, I do miss orange shag carpeting

Guardian :

It’s satanic meaning you’re leaving it up for some demonic entity to pick up your request and fulfilling it in return for something and it only gets worse.

Em Reed :

I love you, Donna. I hope youre still on that witchcraft grindset today, queen. ♏️🔮🧿

✨Moss✨ :

I like holloween in a way that i can rage bait people while also being openly a witch and everyone thinks its just a bit for Halloween

Auroakai :

And 40 plus years later people are still mad

user0101001101001 :

I wonder how she’s doing

Dashingdarling :

Sounds like early Wiccan beliefs

🧿Maddie's left nut🏳️‍🌈 :

wiccans are witches, not all witches are wiccans 😭😭😭

Peace83💜💜🫂 :

beautiful and why do they need a man to explain it?

jenks :

My anxiety is sky high with all those candles on a carpet like that

M :

I remember satanic panic in the 80’s , I was terrified at 8 I was going to be kidnapped! My parents would roll their eyes & tell me I was dramatic! Lol! The fear was real it was all over the night news😅

Melissa🔮💎 :

a year before I was born💜

Vincent V :

keytarkris :

You watch these now and wonder how the Satanic Panic could have been

🦋MistyBubblesThePixieWitch🦋 :

I recognize that voice.

ladykeke :

ravens_moonmagik :

🤣 3 times over. Because wicca is a closed practice a lot of the books back then were not proper Wicca. 3 fold law isn’t real but you will find a lot of that made up stuff in older books because the people who wrote them were not Wiccan.
