Hendry was a phenomenal player personally think as good as anyone that’s ever played just lost his edge should’ve won double the world championships he got

Taylor won the greatest final. Davis was a machine and became likeable after losing to Dennis. Hendry was tighter than a gnats chuff. The Hurricane could play the best shots, wee Jimmy should've been the Goat but Ronnie is the goat

Been lucky enough to play Davis along with many other pros. He’s a really nice guy. Funny too. 👍🏻

Hendry and Davis never rwally took any mouthwatering shots that were risky if missed they was like robots programmed to just pot balls and do nothing special, Alex and Jimmy gave you these shots but really fell short on winning more tournaments then Davis and hendry as opposed to Ronnie who's given you all 4 in a nutshell that's why he's head and shoulders above the lot

I think davis at his best was as good as hendry but as he as good as admitted himself he didn't know how to deal with him and his confidence crumbled.

See the Rocket absorbing everything in. That's one of the reasons he's the best snooker player that ever will be.

Steve Davis is the most important player in the history of the game of Snooker. Like Pele, Mohammad Ali, Bog, Jack Nicklus and tiger Woods, he defined snooker - for the World. Brought it to the late 20th century. At his heigh, it was utter perfection, complusory viewing - because you knew you were watching history being made.
