“Without probable cause” after saying they had guns, drugs and other issues. Sounds like probable cause to me

You have to be 21 with a valid ID to legally be there so I disagree with that statement about not having to shoe your ID

sounds like they were checking to make sure everyone was of legal age to be in the club and it over filled

Checking for underage patrons. If a part of the complaint included underaged patrons, and the warrant was granted with that in mind, then yes, they can check ids.

Ignorance is no excuse for breaking the law so if there is 300 people that means they where breaking the law

I don't think that's accurate! I believe this would follow the same legal justification as a sobriety checkpoint. As long as every single person leaving faces the exact same scrutiny and standard then it would be legal.

If they're securing a building and making sure no one can leave, wouldn't that be considered a detainment?

they were checking for age. also if they had included thst they were looking for person or persons they could require id to rule out they were not that person.

ya. usually if they are raiding a building in relation to drugs there is usually ALSO a list of people they may be looking for. so requiring ID as they leave is them lawfully searching for their suspects, isn't it? because otherwise some staff or whoever the drug dealers are would be able to just grab all the drugs, bag em up, and walk out with the crowd. so i would think you should get more information before making a video on this particular situation

It may be unjustifiable, but saying no isn't really an option. What would you recommend someone do in this situation? 🤔

What city was it in the 100 mile zone if so it’s legal for ice to require id without a crime as border check.

... isn't it valid for them to ensure that all the patrons are an appropriate age to be there though? If the club is being investigated then checking IDs to make sure everyone is of legal age would be a part of that investigation would it not?

If the club is 21 and up and you have to show your ID to get in is that not enough to force ID

well... not fully. the police are investigating suspected crimes. even if a person wasn't suspected of a crime, they were at the scene when it took place, there for identifying everyone involved for later assessment whether they are suspects, victims or witnesses.
