@christinadynamite: When cooking ground beef, I always start with the meat, not the onions! I let the beef sear and develop that beautiful browning before adding the onions. This way, the onions soften in the rendered fat and soak up all that delicious flavor. Sometimes it’s the little things that make the biggest difference in cooking. Now I’m curious. Do you sauté your onions first or your beef first? Christina Dynamite™ Keep it Simple. Keep it Real.™
Not true if you cook the onions properly the liquid will evaporate

That’s a terrible idea then your onions aren’t gonna cook and they’re gonna remain crunchy… I don’t want to know that I’m eating an onion

Nope. The onion gives the meat an amazing flavor. I don't need brown meat, I need flavorful meat. I add an entire onion and my meat is delicious. Also add all my seasonings while it's still cooking.

By cooking the onions first, the liquid comes out of it if you throw raw onions into the meat that’s when you will get more moisture

Rita :
no the moisture cooks off before I add the meat and it still browns.

Don’t you want to draw out all the moisture so it can brown properly instead of steaming from the inside?
