@stuartbrazell: Jenna Ortega just delivered hands down the best performance of her career, and you need to see this on the big screen. Klara and the Sun, directed by Taika Waititi, is officially in theaters right now and it completely blew me away. In a world where families purchase humanoid robots called Artificial Friends from a friend store for their kids, Klara is an older model waiting to be chosen. She gets paired with a chronically ill teenager named Josie, played by newcomer Mia Tharia, and their dynamic carries the whole heart of the movie alongside Amy Adams. Jenna’s comedic physicality, subtle expressions, and warmth lit up the entire theater. Plus, Oscar-nominated Jojo Rabbit production designer Ra Vincent gave every frame this gorgeous, golden sunlit aesthetic instead of a bleak sci-fi look. If you love Broadway musicals like Darren Criss in Maybe Happy Ending, this has that exact tender, hopeful vibe. Grab your tickets and support original cinema in theaters this weekend. I actually just bought the Kazuo Ishiguro novel because I always prefer watching the movie first and reading the book after. Are you team movie-first or book-first? @Klara And The Sun Movie @Sony Pictures @Taika Waititi #KlaraAndTheSun #JennaOrtega #movietok #TaikaWaititi #AmyAdams
