There is a kind of pain that never truly leaves you. It just learns how to hide behind your smile until the world gets quiet, and suddenly, you're breaking all over again because the one person you want most is the one person you can't call anymore. 💔 Losing my dad left a hole in my heart that nothing in this world could ever fill. Some days, the weight of missing him is so heavy that I don't know how to carry it. I would give anything for one more hug, one more conversation, one more moment to hear him say my name. And on the days when life feels unbearable, I find myself coming here, sitting beside his grave, wishing heaven had a phone I could call. This is where I let the tears fall. This is where I tell him everything I wish I could say out loud. And this is where I turn to God, because when my heart hurts more than words can explain, my faith is what gives me somewhere to lay the pieces. I don't always understand God's plan. I don't always understand why my dad had to leave this world when he did. And I won't pretend that having faith makes the grief disappear. But I believe my dad is safe in the arms of Jesus, and I hold on to the promise that this isnt goodbye forever. I may not be able to hold my daddy in my arms anymore, but I can still fall into the arms of my Heavenly Father when missing him becomes too much to bear. 🙏🏻🤍 So I'll keep coming here. I'll keep talking to Dad, praying through the tears, and trusting God to carry me through the days I don't feel strong enough to carry myself. Because some days, I don't need the world to understand my grief. I just need a quiet place to miss my dad and a God who understands every tear I cry. Until I see you again, Daddy, I'll love you, I'll miss you, and I'll keep looking toward heaven. ❤️‍🩹 #myjourney #grief #faith #dad
