That happened to my car not a Cadillac but I did forget the cap.. thank goodness my dad’s a mechanic ! It was a quick fix and he cleaned the engine too

If you bought it from a dealership, they should have made it very clear that you needed premium gas only! I have had multiple cars they required only 93 and they repeated it several times. So either you missed it lol OR the dealership
