@janelleferra: Day six of my Seven Days of Halloween Cocktails: the Vampire Repellent Martini 🧄🍸 This dirty martini gets an icy olive-brine granita, a little blue cheese, and homemade blue-cheese-stuffed olives. Vampires, consider this your warning. Granita • ½ cup Castelvetrano olive brine • ¼ cup garlic-stuffed olive brine • Lemon zest • Optional splash of dry vermouth Freeze in a shallow dish, then scrape or mash with a fork into a granita. For the martini • 3 oz gin or vodka • Small piece of blue cheese • Blue-cheese-stuffed olives, for garnish Shake the gin or vodka, olive brine, and blue cheese with ice. Spoon the granita into a chilled martini glass and strain the martini over it. Garnish with your stuffed olives.
