This is so important. Something every parent should know: if the school says no to a request, ask for it in writing. Under IDEA, they’re required to give you Prior Written Notice explaining what they refused and why. A verbal “no” in a meeting is easy. Putting it in writing makes them stand behind it 💙

fortunately Autism is the ONLY thing they recognize. unfortunately they're are other kids who have other syndromes, ppl are not aware of, who get nothing. no help. so no offense you're lucky.
