i was such an imaginative kid that i was so convinced whenever i swam in the pool or something at night no matter how a, shark was going to bite me. i would close my eyes and it was like i was in the middle of the ocean about to be eaten

no idea but there's a lake where the pleasure island moby dick still sits abandoned and is visible from the surface some days

I went to sleep away camp at seaworld when I was about 10 and one morning they woke us up at 6am and it was dark af and I swear to god they made us swim one by one around a dock and it was foggy and dark and I nearly had a heart attack. I will never forget it. I have never been so convinced I was going to be eaten by a shark in my life 😭 I was so scared.

It's true! Shark is stuck under Pyro Island. The fireworks are meant to keep it afraid to return to swimming.

😂😂😂 Nope unfortunately there are several on display in movie lots, but The Jaws 3-D Shark: Jaws 3-D (1983) was partially filmed at SeaWorld Orlando, using the stingray lagoon and manatee pools for sets and underwater sequences, rather than leaving a full animatronic shark sitting at the bottom of the park's water

I always said they needed to put one in there for Howl-O-Scream one year for the anniversary of Jaws 3. Could you imagine riding in the flamingo paddle boats and a shark pops up 🤣

Grew up going to SeaWorld constantly and heard about this, always wondered if it was true. Heard it was a way to initiate new diving techs LOL

Jaws 3 had me terrified of SeaWorld. Completely convinced they had underwater tunnels I was gonna get stuck in and attack by a shark lol.
