One thing I love about living in Houston is that there’s always something fun to do! When your job is just trying to exist (because disabled, hello 👋), sometimes it’s nice to try and get outside! Especially when the weather is FINALLY good 🍂 So in that spirit, today me and my bestie (aka my mom 🤣) went downtown to check out a book festival. There’s so many book things to do here so it’s easy to always find someplace to spend money 😅 I ended up getting some cute stickers, trading in an old book I had for Station Eleven (which was a 5 🌟 read for me, and now I don’t have to buy it!), and a super adorable “books read” counter shelf thing with a bunch of little accessories. Then we went full tradwife and came home and made home made butter because why not lol. Then reading by the pool while my daughter went to ride the train at the mall with my mom. Overall a 10/10 day 🙌🏻 We might even hit a pumpkin patch tonight if we’re feeling crazy lol.
