Drafting the wrong QB literally sets your franchise back years!! The miss on Wilson has them still looking for that guy. Sadly these college QBs you never know how they’ll turn out. These GMs get so excited watching these kids spin it on pro day in shorts and t-shirt and some aren’t good. The Bears have there guy now. But they really selected Mitch or Watson that draft like they didn’t see Watson in back to back nattys against Alabama. Yeah I know Watson eventually had the off the field stuff but at the time it was no way they thought Mitch was better but they went with it and Nagy lost his job because of it. Just hard to find that guy. They have a top 5 pick and what if the GM misses again on the QB?

So... what's the plan? fire him mid season. Let an interim coach throw Cade out there and tank. get another Rookie QB and flip the building again? Who's ganna coach? and don't say Mike Tomlin. No self respecting veteran OC is going to come work for Woody Johnson. but yeah sure. let's keep blowing through coaches every other year. let's see if that keeps working for us. We're just one more piece, one Qb, one coach, one more rebuild away. When does it stop? Let's have a new HC every week at this point. why not?

At some point you have to ride out a HC. You’ll never get anywhere with a HC turnstile. Let Glenn stay in the role. Continue to put talent into the team. If two years from now they haven’t improved? Then make the change. They really have to give a guy a chance to improve a last place team while remembering they are a last place team. This team isn’t just a HC away. And yeah you can look at JHar and the Giants. But they weren’t a last place team even under Daboll when he wasn’t dealing with roster injuries. The Giants were not the Jets.

It all leads to woody, I hate to say it but if you start looking around at teams that have been historically bad their turn arounds are often preceded by a change in ownership. Bills, Lions, and bears all had changes in ownership before making a turnaround. better ownership attracts better GM's to hire Better GM and Ownership attracts good coaches.

I thought it was a terrible hire from the jump, but as a Patriots fan I was happy. ultimately...they probably didn't have a lot of choices. no next great offensive mind is going to go to a team without a QB or a top pick in a good QB draft. I would have hired Rex. and I know that sounds crazy, but he definitely would be better than this
