the classism in Ghana is too much! living in the US has saved me from a lot of nonsense. Nobody cares what bag you carry or clothing you wear. Just be a genuine human being! I was recently at a seminar for physicians and medical providers and the presenters had on worn out sneakers. I had on crocs. These are HIGHLY educated women I am talking about.

Sometimes, you guys need to understand what she’s trying to say. Instead of buying fake designer items, invest in quality, unbranded things.You don’t have to carry fake items just to feel like you belong.There are beautiful, classy items you can afford that still look expensive.Unbranded doesn’t mean poor quality or looking cheap.It’s better to wear quality than to carry something you know is fake. Work with what you can afford and be confident in it.Until you reach a stage where you can comfortably afford the original.

I don't think people understand what she was trying to say. she's saying brand yourself well. you don't need to get the fake one. you can get other beautiful things that is not a replica of a popular brand. she even mentioned going to kanta to get nice things. so it's not about what you have but what you use it for. don't be too desperate only to get ccigu instead of Gucci. it's simple. you never know where you'll find yourself. you might need to meet prominent people and all you have are fake things. you can rock a 50 cedis bag that doesn't belong to any brand.
