Thank you so much for spreading awareness❤️it’s been a rough year for us here in the Virgin Islands, we’ve been experiencing daily outages for a while now. I have friends who are nurses and firefighters that were telling me both the emergency room and fire stations were over packed with people on oxygen who were just sitting there all day and overnight with their machines plugged in not wanting to go home, because they literally would just be going home to die. There was a case where this one man’s oxygen cut off in his sleep because his machine lost power during the outage in the middle of the night and his daughter found him unresponsive . My friend said that the hospital was so full that they were treating patients right in the emergency room waiting area. The people who needed medical attention from St. John had to go all the way across the ocean to St. Thomas to get it. There were so many diabetic people on refrigerated insulin in there too because all of their medication‘s spoiled. A man’s generator caught fire and burnt his entire house down. It’s all just so terrible 💔

ooooo we made it to black belt babe news. 🥳🥳🥳 but yes this have been going on for literally DECADES. hundreds of millions of dollars have been funneled into wapa and nothing has changed. its beyond ridiculous! im currently sitting in the dark as im typing this. 😭
