It does this in the open desert too, and you can walk around on a full moon night with no lights after your eyes adjust. Thanks for sharing.

I have a split personality. One me is just trying to get through each day in a dark place, the other me is sailing with phoenix, not always comfortable or content, but knowing that I’m doing what I was made to do, making friends with beetles, birds and dragonflies and knowing what it feels like to see the horizon in the middle of the night by the light of a full moon
