@thatssourr: December 27, 2022 — A one-minute clip surfaces on WorldStarHipHop: at a restaurant table, a man in an orange shirt is slumped and struggling to breathe while the people with him keep eating — and a stranger, a woman in a blue-and-white varsity jacket, holds him up, checks his pulse, and keeps him talking until he breathes again Inside the footage — The audio confirms help was on its way ("Is someone coming?" — "He said they're coming"), and by the end of the clip the man has a pulse, is breathing, and is answering her The psychology — The bystander effect and pluralistic ignorance: why a full table can sit frozen while one stranger acts — and why one person moving first is what breaks the freeze What to do — The warning signs she caught (gone a long time, can't stay upright, can't answer, can't breathe normally) and the response that buys time: sit them up, call emergency services, stay, keep them talking Status — The clip has been reposted for years and watched hundreds of thousands of times, but no news outlet has ever identified the man, the woman, the restaurant, or the city, and no follow-up ever reported what was wrong with him or how he recovered — what the camera shows is all anyone knows #ViralVideo #GoodSamaritan #BystanderEffect #StrangerHelps #TrueStory
