So true..my dad & I both are like this. When I had my knee replacement, they were shooting me up with pain meds that were meant to knock me out. I kept telling them that I was still in pain and wide awake. The pharmacist & a doctor both came up to my room bc they thought the nurses weren’t administering the drug correctly. The pharma said he’s never seen someone take the amount I took and not sleep. They ended up having to inject me with Dilaudid, which did, in fact, knock me out 🤣

yes and I feel that is why my grandmother was pushed past her limits for her last surgery. her hair was dyed red

That’s absolutely true – I work in a dental office and whenever I have a red head patient , we have to give them more anaesthetic as they’re really difficult to numb.
