Irishman Patrick Mohr thought his wedding ring was gone forever after losing it in a fast-flowing river during a family holiday in Italy. Three Italian men — Filippo Palagi, Nicola Malloggi, and Edoardo Poggi — spent hours searching underwater before finally finding the precious ring days later. But their kindness didn’t stop there! Inspired by The Lord of the Rings, the trio flew to Ireland dressed as hobbits to return the ring in person, turning an incredible search into an unforgettable adventure. Patrick welcomed them into his home, took them sightseeing, and shared a meal with his family. What began with three strangers helping a tourist became a beautiful friendship across countries.
