@oyaropeter: Good teachers make happy learners because happiness in learning does not come from easy work, but from feeling seen, safe, and capable. A good teacher creates that condition: they explain clearly enough that confusion doesn't turn into shame, they set high expectations while offering steady encouragement, and they notice when a student is struggling before the student has to ask for help. When a learner feels that their effort matters, that mistakes are treated as information rather than failure, and that the classroom is a place of respect and curiosity rather than fear, motivation becomes intrinsic. That sense of belonging and competence is what turns attendance into engagement, and engagement into joy, which is why the quality of the teacher so directly shapes the happiness of the learner. #education #happiness
