It’s motor racing shit happens, I promise you it’s not that deep. Kimi has been a phenomenal talent for YEARS and everyone who’s watched him come thru junior formulas knows that this isn’t surprising. It’s just what kimi has done his whole career essentially.

For starters, Kimi is wiping the floor with George. He was P1 today while George was P8. George was 55 seconds behind Kimi second of all George was not the only one with car problems this year. Y’all forgot about the beginning or middle of the season where there were like four races in a row where he had car issues that caused him to either DNF or fall back, the Mercedes has had problems for both of the drivers just at different points in the season. Kimi has been wiping the floor with George. It sucks for George and I feel really bad for him, but the commentators aren’t lying or exaggerating this is an amazing year for Kimi

george finished 8th and 54 seconds behind kimi today, kimi did in fact wipe the floor with george and has been this whole season. 3 DNFs and monaco(which kimi would have won regardless) dont make up the point difference between kimi and george. Kimi is already the better driver and is only in his 2nd season lol.

i literally had to mute it. the last bit where they were saying “without this guy [kimi] showing up week in and week out merc wouldn’t have had the chance for the wcc”. i’m sorry. have we been watching the same races??? george hasn’t BEEN ABLE TO show up and perform at some of the races. he’s getting the blunt end of the stick with reliability issues, strategy fails and pit stops, let alone absurd penalties. i genuinely can’t listen to jolyon palmer say anything else about george because it’s so biased he’s not even hiding anymore
