management started a new thing where the names of whoever picked an order (I work in a warehouse) will be given to the customer who collects the order. awful idea coz the area i work in is a SHITHOLE and not at all safe to have full names plastered all over the building

Yup. Manager came around on Monday asking how weekend went at work. Honestly it sucked because you don’t allow enough employees to be scheduled for the amount of work that should be done.

What I love is you give ideas for morale or something that would help the flow and you get feed back that the idea wouldn’t work, but then a few weeks lady a supervisor introduces your idea and claims credit. That’s messed up.

Allowing too many people to be part of the decision making process can backfire too. Especially when the doers are needed to keep the lights on but don’t have the skillset to contribute to strategic transformation. Including them only slows the process down as they try to protect their fiefdom and halt the wheels of progress.
