I feel like we’ve made a habit of telling people who didn’t have anything that in order for them to get ahead they have to give up what they’ve never had. I’ve never had it. Meaning I don’t have it to give and let go. Everything I have I got after childhood and it’s being used in a place in life. It’s like no one is able to get anything, we just have to be in a forever state of sacrifice and release but never intaking.
