@thebeautifullybus: My daughter struggled academically due to ADHD for years. I dreaded homework time. What should take only 30 minutes would drag out for 2 hours. No matter how much I tried to help, nothing seemed to work. It always seemed to be in one ear and out the other. Every night she would be in tears. When it finally seemed she got it, the next day it was like she never saw it. Boof! It was gone! This went on for years we started creating efficient systems that worked for her learning style.
