As someone who started doing makeup at 11. Always start with eyebrows, eyeliner, mascara lashes, or clusters, and lip liner. These are the most important features of your face that you need to master and figure out what looks best and also how to properly apply. Just doing the wrong eyeliner or eyebrows or lip liner can make you look completely off. Then start learning how to carve out your eyebrows with concealer. Then you’re going to start learning how to apply concealer under your eyes and around the spots you want to cover and blend it. Get the hang of blending. Then once in a while, apply a small bit of foundation and blend through throughout your face. Does it spread? Is there streaks of unblended foundation? Figure out what your base looks like. Then you can go in with tutorials and ways you can fix your base and from there, you will learn contour, powder, bronzer, and then you can start learning how to contour your nose.

Professional MUA here 💁🏽♀️& you’re absolutely right beautiful ! Foundation with no bronzer will absolutely make you look flat & washed out. If you wanna cover blemishes , use concealer and lightly set with a pressed powder! But do not wear foundation alone. 😩 Like she said add the concealer, lightly set & do a flush of blush and use bronzer to bring the warmth (dimension) back into your face! ☺️

Yes! It takes the dimension away because it removes the high and low lights that’s why you need to add concealer and bronzer to rebalance. Also don’t wear concealer alone please 😂
