Add the chopped onion in the center. Cook over medium heat until the tomatoes soften. Make a space in the middle, add the ground meat, and sauté. Remove the softened tomato skins, mash the tomatoes with a fork, and let it all simmer. Add the tomato paste, garlic, parsley, seasonings, and cheese, then stir.
